WHAT THE HOME OWNER CAN EXPECT

Our workmen will be at your home for several days to perform your pool renovation. In all, you will encounter three separate Mr. Marcite units: preparation crew, surface application crew, and our service technician. Our crews are specialized in separate phases of renovation to better service our customers.

FOR EACH DAY THAT MR. MARCITE IS ON SITE AT YOUR HOME,
WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:

ACCESS FROM THE STREET TO YOUR POOL

A POWER SOURCE AT YOUR POOL

ACCESS TO THE ELECTRICAL BREAKERS AT YOUR HOME
(or a viable contingency for access should a breaker trip)

ACCESS TO WATER AND SPIGOT

A VALID CONTACT NUMBER FOR YOU

POOL PREPARATION

At this time, your pool will be drained and prepared for surface application. Your pool pump and timer will be disconnected for the duration of your renovation. If you have contracted tile work, it will be performed at this stage and may take several days to install and set-up. Please note that once preparation is complete, it is not unusual for a pool to sit open one or more days between preparation and application, depending on seasonal scheduling.

SURFACE APPLICATION

During this phase, your new pool surface will be applied and WE WILL BEGIN FILLING YOUR POOL. The returns of your pool will be plugged to prevent water leaking onto the surface; please do not remove these plugs as doing so may cause staining. Remember, however, that your newly applied surface is hand-troweled and may contain small imperfections. This is normal of all hand-troweled applications and is commonplace in the industry. Each pool is unique.

WHILE THE POOL IS FILLING:

1. DO NOT WALK IN OR AROUND YOUR POOL DURING FILLING PROCESS

2. DO NOT TURN THE WATER OFF FOR ANY REASON and DO NOT ADD CHEMICALS
(Doing so may cause damage to your new surface.) If you are concerned that the water could overflow during the night, you can turn DOWN the water flow and slow filling, but you must be careful not to turn the water off. Turning the water off before the level reaches your tile may cause a "bathtub ring" in your new surface.

3. Once the water level reaches the normal fill level, you may turn off the water and remove the hose from the pool. Notify the office immediately so that we can place you on the schedule for our service technician.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our service technician will collect final payment and perform a multi-day chemical treatment of your pool. During the first visit your pool pump will be started and will run for a 24-hour period. DO NOT turn off your pump unless instructed by our technician to do so. Circulation is important. Upon the next visit, our technician will reset your pool timer, final out chemicals and any details on your jobsite.

FROM THIS POINT ON, CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE POOL IS LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE POOL OWNER. YOU SHOULD BEGIN BRUSHING YOUR POOL AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE WITH A COMBINATION NYLON BRUSH TO PREVENT RESIDUE FROM AFFIXING TO YOUR NEW POOL SURFACE. NOTIFY YOUR REGULAR POOL SERVICE THAT THEY MAY RESUME, AND REFER TO THE POOL CARE & MAINTENANCE BY POOL OWNER INFORMATION SHEET.

YOUR MR. MARCITE PRODUCT WARRANTY AND/OR WATER LETTER WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER FINAL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. OUR WORKMANSHIP IS ALSO GUARANTEED BY YOUR SIGNED CONTRACT.

Depending upon individual pool renovation needs, the Florida weather, and seasonal demands, your pool renovation time and/or procedure may vary. If you have any concerns do not hesitate to call our office
